Best Natural Breast Enlargement

Bilateral Breast Enlargement Surgery (sometimes called Breast Augmentation) is the most commonly performed cosmetic surgery procedure in the United Kingdom.

There are many myths and rumours about this cosmetic surgery treatment, however, which might make people nervous about breast enlargement.

Common Breast Enlargement Surgery myths include:

1)      Silicone implants might explode whilst flying in an aeroplane

2)      Scuba Diving can also cause implants to pop

3)      Breast Implants stop you from wearing a seatbelt in the car

There is absolutely no proof that silicone implants explode at high altitude or pop under high pressure! Therefore, it is completely safe to fly after breast enlargement surgery with silicone breast implants…and, likewise, to scuba dive!

However, most cosmetic surgeons do recommend waiting for at least 2 weeks following breast enlargement surgery before flying. This is purely due to the risk of developing DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) and has nothing to do with your breast implants!

After 2 weeks, many breast enlargement surgery patients do fly. In fact, lots of people with breast implants have jobs which involve frequent flying, like air stewardesses.

No good surgeon would ever recommend that you should stop wearing your seatbelt in the car! Although it may be a little uncomfortable at first after your breast enlargement surgery, the risk of trauma to this area if you were involved in a crash far outweighs the initial discomfort.

Wearing your seatbelt after breast enlargement surgery will certainly not cause your silicone implants to rupture or change shape in any way.

So please, please keep your seatbelt strapped and ignore this particularly silly rumour!

Breast examination is actually often easier following breast enlargement surgery as the breast tissue is intact and pushed forward by the silicone breast implant. Breast implants sit behind the breast tissue so it should be possible to examine the breasts in the normal fashion for any lumps.

You can also still have a Mammogram inspection if you so wished. However, it true that some mammography machines compress the breast tissue so are generally best avoided. By discussing the type of mammography machine to be used and informing your doctor that you have breast implants, you can still have Breast Cancer examinations without causing trauma to the shell of your implant.

Nobody should be able to guess that you have had breast enlargement surgery: your implants should look and feel completely natural, with no odd shapes, discharges or sensations.

You will still be able to complete all the activities and exercises you did before including flying and scuba-diving! You may, however, need to wear a more supportive bra to cope with your wonderful new breasts.
